Sarah Cameto

Professional Triathlete

Show project info

Sarah started with some local Olympic distance races and ended her first season with with her first 70.3, where she was the overall female champion. From there she was hooked. Gaining experience on the circuit, Sarah continued to claim a number of overall amateur titles in 2013 and 2014. In July of 2014 Sarah decided it was time to turn professional. She competed in Steelhead 70.3 as her first professional race where she finished fourth, and is now looking forward to this next chapter of her journey.

Sure, Sarah wants to achieve her personal goals, but she also has something bigger in mind. Sarah wants to inspire, motivate, and encourage those who follow along to share in the competitive spirit and take pride in personal accomplishment. Whatever that means for you, be inspired and take it on. Find your State of Grace!

  • The 8 hour work day can be excruciating for some people. It can be unbearable to sit there and stare at a screen for that amount of time. However, you can make it work! Here's what we suggest you do:
➡️ Work for 1 hour, respect that hour and work hard.
➡️ Don't waste energy daydreaming.
➡️ Lastly, take a 15-minute break after 1 hour of work.
.
Take real rest to you can re-energize and rejuvenate. 🔋⚡️ #getWIDSIX
  • I think we can all agree, small talk is the WORST 😒 Questions like "How are you?" or "What do you do?" can be so ... boring. Start asking questions that create REAL conversations, not fake ones. What do you do to keep interactions alive and exciting? #WIDSIX
  • A good idea is useless, unless you act on it. Get off this IG feed and get to work!💡 #getWIDSIX

  • #getWIDSIX - Over the years, Google has been researching what makes an effective manager. With their findings, they have managed to improve 75% of their underperforming managers. Here are the 6 things Google now teaches their managers in order to be effective:
.
➡️ Mindset and values
➡️ Emotional intelligence
➡️ Manager transition
➡️ Coaching
➡️ Feedback
➡️ Decision making
  • New managers often take on too much responsibility, let people walk all over them, or overwork themselves. The transition between being managed to now having to manage others can be tough. It's important to have a positive outlook on your new position; strive to learn and grow every day so you can become the best boss you can be 💪🏼 😎 #getWIDSIX
  • It's a new day, and that means a new opportunity for change. What good shall you do this day? 🙏 #getWIDSIX

  • FYRE: the perfect example of when event planning and marketing aren't in alignment. Because while big promises may sell tickets, if you can't deliver, your brand will go up in flames (pun intended).🔥
